"Not transgenic" means the same thing as “without GMO “or” not genetically modified"? Yes, they are equivalent expressions How can we guarantee that our soya is not transgenic? Controlling carefully its origin. The entire soya which we use was obtained from certified seeds, without genetic modifications. The fields where it is cultivated are also identified and checked. It allows establishing a very effective traceability of soya. Furthermore, the organic farming soya has proved guarantees by the Certification Body, which declares that the crop was treated with neither pesticides nor synthetic fertilizers. The Soya is analyzed to verify that it is not genetically modified? Yes, Liquats Vegetals has an agreement with the Institute of Molecular Biology of Barcelona which belongs to CSIC-IRTA. IBMB realizes periodic controls of all our products to guarantee with the most modern analytical techniques the absence of substance genetically modified. What does IP (Identity Preserved) mean? The concept of preserved Identity stands for the absence of genetic modifications and for the traceability, which means that we know the origin and all the stages which the soya has undergone until the arrival to our facilities. When it has all the documentation necessary for the control of traceability from the origin till the production plant then we can assure that the soya does not come from genetically modified organisms and we can assert that the soya has a Protected Identity. If it is possible to guarantee that the soya is not genetically modified why it is not indicated on the packaging with a sentence short as “without GMO "? Because the Spanish legislation does not allow it. Why it’s not allowed? The regulation CE 1830/2003 requires declaring if any product contains ingredients obtained from genetically modified row materials. It presupposes that in any other cases the products do NOT contain any genetically modified ingredients; so it does not allow doing the advertising of a thing which is presupposed and obvious. Without being opened, tetra bricks of drinks can be preserved at room temperature, without direct contact with the sunlight and without being exposed to high temperatures. Once opened, in the refrigerator, it may be preserved during 3-4 days, depending on the temperature of the refrigerator. What are fattyacids omega 3 and omega 6? Omega 3 and omega 6 belongs to the polyunsaturates fatty acids group in which we find nourishing and beneficial properties for our body. The calcium that is added to drinks of Liquats Vegetals is it of animal origin? No, calcium is never of animal origin in our drinks. We use two different sources of calcium: 1.
