Almonds with fructose
Montseny water, fructose (7%), almonds (4%), sunflower lecithin.
High in unsaturated fats, most prominently oleic acid and linoleic acid. Replacing saturated with unsaturated fats in your diet helps maintain normal levels of blood cholesterol. Low sodium content, which helps maintain normal blood pressure. High vitamin B2 content (riboflavin), which promotes the healthy absorption of iron and protects cells against oxidation. Vitamin B2 also helps reduce tiredness and fatigue.
Where we do it
Our processing plant is located in the heart of Montseny Natural Park. It’s surrounded by farmland and forests of holm oak… Directly in front is Matagalls, the highest peak in the park. The air is clean, the landscape bucolic and the flora and fauna abundant. And in order to leave everything exactly as we found it, 100% of the by-products and water we use is recycled.
How we do it
We select sweet almonds of the highest quality and pulverise them in water in order to extract all the nutrients and sensory properties (taste, smell, consistency and texture). Then, to reduce the bitterness of the almond we add a small quantity of fructose, a sugar found in fruit and vegetables. The drink then undergoes UHT treatment to ensure food safety standards before finally being packaged.
The aroma and sweet overtones of the almonds are very pleasing and satisfying.
